THE CASITAS

El Cortijo de los Caballos is mainly known as a wedding venue and has been renovated many times over the years, always retaining that eclectic mix of Spanish and Moroccan décor which was chosen to suit the building's traditional Moorish architecture. 'The Casitas' were sympathetically converted from an equestrian centre in the 1980s by its present owners and includes 11 Casitas and a 3 bedroom Cottage. As well as these individual rooms, you can now also rent 'The Casa Grande', a private 4bed/3bath Villa with pool and the 'Casa Cordoba', bringing up the total to 45 guests plus cots (extra beds in some of the rooms) This additional accommodation is optional and can be used together with the main Villa if your wedding party is over 35 people.

The Pool Room is normally used as the Bridal Suite, it is a bright studio with kitchenette, situated next to the ceremony area and pool and a little more private than the other rooms.

Sit Back and Relax

The 3-bed cottage and 8 of the Casitas are equipped with a kitchenette & hob, most have a bath and a separate shower, 3 rooms just have breakfast facilities with fridge, capsule coffee maker, toaster, kettle etc. All rooms have airconditioning/heating, hairdryers, safes and their own little terrace with table and chairs. Bedding and towels for bathroom and pool are provided.

When hosting your wedding party, you will find that your guests will appreciate that little bit of extra privacy found at our venue that you would not normal find in other wedding villas, where you have to share the communal areas with the other guests at all times.

Pool Room

Our Pool Room (12) is most suited to honeymooners with its romantic décor and its own large private garden with direct access to the swimming pool. This bright and airy room comes with a super King size bed and a living/dining area with kitchenette. The en-suite bathroom is decorated with hand painted antique tiles and has a double sink, bath and walk in shower. Its terrace is completely private and has a table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast together, looking out onto the tropical gardens and nearby Golf Course.

Tower Room

The Tower Room (10) is a secret hideaway with beautiful Romeo and Juliet balconies and a private roof terrace at the rear. Romantically decorated with a Super King size bed, built in breakfast tray and en-suite shower room, this lovely bright room enjoys views over the gardens and swimming pool. Corral Apartments

We have 3 one-bedroom Corral rooms (5, 7 & 9). Each room is individual, with some being split level and some having private rear terraces as well as a front one. They come with a kitchenette and lounge area, Super King size bed and en-suite bathroom with double sink, bath and walk in shower. Room 9 can take an extra person on the sofa.

Corral Rooms

There are 2 Saddle rooms (6 & 8)which are our junior suites and they come with Super King size beds, breakfast facilities, dining area and en suite bathroom with double sink, bath and walk in shower. They also have a terrace to the front with a table and chairs.

Stable Rooms

Our Stable Rooms (1-4) are one bedroom studios with kitchenette, lounge and dining area and bedroom where single beds can be converted into Super King size beds they are en suite with double sinks, baths and walk in shower. We have one double stable room (No. 1) which has a large sofa bed for 2 children and three twin/double stable rooms. Room 4 can take an extra bed. Each room has its own private terrace for dining and sunbathing.

The Cottage

The old residence of the Spanish caretaker has been lovingly converted into what is currently named as 'the Cottage' (rooms 11a,b & c) and is situated next to the communal bar and lounge. It's original décor with wooden beams on the ceiling and ceramic tiled floors gives you that unique Spanish feel. It consists of 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a large sitting/dining room with a kitchen that is shared privately by the guests in the Cottage.
