El Cortijo de los Caballos is accessed via a quiet country lane and is completely secluded by high cypress and pine trees. There are extensive mature gardens with a large range of rare tropical plants and shrubs which have night time soft lighting.
When used as a wedding venue it will be lit up with candles and lanterns, adding to the romantic feel of the property which gives you that fairytale wedding feeling not often experiences in other places.
On the day of the wedding guests are moved around the premises, adding to this special surprise element at each different function. The welcome drinks, the ceremony, the cocktails & tapas in the pool bar, the dining area on the lawn by the pool, and the first dance, each one will be at a different part of the venue.
Each room has its own kitchenette and the main Bar lounge has a communal kitchen which is equipped for 35+ guests to socialise and dine together.
The communal dining area is next to the Bar and kitchen and we have recently added a marquee to this area. it seats 35+, perfect for that late night snack or on the wedding day for a quieter chat whilst everyone is dancing.
Each casita has a private outdoor area/terrace whilst the communal Bar/lounge is large enough to accommodate the whole group when socializing together.

14 rooms: a mix of double and twin bedrooms. The twin beds can be made up as a double by adding a comfortable topper. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. Some will sleep an extra person.
Linen, bath & pool towels provided.
14 bedrooms/14 bathrooms plus 2 outside toilets. With extra beds the main Villa (the Casitas) can sleep 35 total. The Casa Grande next door sleeps another 11 people.
Some apartments would suit people in a wheelchair but there are steps in the grounds making it a bit harder to get around.
Children are welcome, we have plenty of toys to keep them occupied and the large walk-in pool is perfect for little ones too.

This communal area consists of a large covered lounge, where the glass panels can be opened up in the summer months to give a more open feel. The beautiful marquee is set up next to the bar and gives the possibility to have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in the off season as well as in the summer months when it serves to provide a large shaded area.
There is a well equipped kitchen, where a group of 30+ guests can socialise and enjoy their meals together. A large BBQ terrace with a traditional Andalusian style BBQ as well as a BBQ area by the pool which allows you to have your own dinner or you could choose to have our caterers come in to do it for you.
There is a flatscreen Smart TV with English channels, a mixing table & DVD/CD player where you can connect your laptop or mobile and enjoy your own choice of music. The DVD/CD player has plenty of CDs with music for everyone and you can bring your own if you still have some! For the children there is an Xbox in the WiFi room and another DVD/Smart TV in the Cottage, which allows them to play or watch a film whilst the adults enjoy a relaxing drink in the bar next door. There is a fibre optic internet connection in the bar/lounge & rooms at no extra charge.
